Chloe Han – VCE Psychology and VCE Biology Tutor

Key qualifications and details:

Hello to all of you in VCE!
I’m Chloe and I’m studying Biomedical Science at Monash this year. I graduated in 2015, with an ATAR of 97.95 and a raw study score of 48 for Psychology. It happens to be one of my favourite VCE subjects – what you learn in it is actually very broadly applicable, be it in what you see in books and film, to concepts and skills in university.
After tutoring a range of subjects throughout this year but have decided to streamline my teaching to the subject I like to tutor the most.
I take a very individual approach to each of my students’ needs, shifting the objectives of my classes from understanding and learning concepts, to structuring and refining short answer questions, maximising time efficiency during assessments, and preparation for individual SACs.
I teach in a very interactive manner with lots of discussion, constructing unique notes in class with my students and practicing responses to VCAA exam and SAC style questions.
The highest priority of my teaching is to convey the key information and concepts that exams and the course are built upon. I pay close attention to the study design, and can give you answers beyond what the school textbook can give you, from the highly relevant information that I learn in my course.
Mastering VCE Psychology is a demanding task: it asks for time, thorough understanding and practice. But it’s definitely achievable for you, and the skills and knowledge that you’ll gain are surprisingly, really quite rewarding.
